Car-Free Day is a Vancouver festival, celebrating communities and alternate transportation. Developed as a response to the provincial government’s Gateway Program, also known as the Port Mann/Highway 1 Improvement Project, it has branches in 4 Vancouver neighbourhoods. This year's festival drew over 40,000 people per day.

The 2012 festival drew over 40,000 people per day.
